Why the name
MAXIMA?

The festival is conceived as a bridge between the musical traditions of the past and contemporary musical expressions, creating an experience that reflects the evolution of music through time.

The festival aims to become an annual event, each time proposing a different theme that can act as a common thread between the events and around which to build the musical programs of each concert, programs in which recent pieces or those composed for the occasion will be placed alongside works from the past in a constant dialogue (in our opinion, the best way to project ourselves into the future with more listening and awareness).
The Team
Our plans for the future:
The Bardi Maxima already aims for three expansions from the second edition:
1. Expand the festival in terms of duration, going from two days to three days.
2. Attach an international composition competition to the festival with an age limit (max 35 years), in order to enhance young people and make the festival known on a large scale;
3. Expand the Nim Ensemble by adding one/two new members.
